Anna Faye Hauser, 72, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Maceo, KY on June 15, 1939 to Charles and Ethel (Stewart) Kelly who precede her in death. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Edward Martin Hauser, Sr., a brother, Charles Kelly, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Faye attended Bethel Baptist Church and was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
She had worked in the restaurant business for many years, including, Faye’s Café in Hawesville, Parker’s Café in Cannelton Swiss Haus, Snappy Grill and Tell Street Café in Tell City. She enjoyed playing bingo and lottery, collecting frogs and angel figurines, laughing and spending time with her family and friends. Faye loved her entire family and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved birds and the color red.
Surviving are her children, Charles (Susie) Gray of Cannelton, Mary (Joe) Noble of Tell City, Rose Parker (Tom Hess) of Cannelton, Melissia Stinogel of Tell City, Theresa (Leo) Gronquist of Tell City, Rachel Doogs of Hawesville and Edward (Katie) Hauser of Owensboro; step children, Janet Hurd, Janice Weaver, Larry, Ronnie, Pat and Danny Hauser; sisters, Louise (JW) Vanover, Morbia Goatley and Frances (Ed) Goines; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 1:00 PM CST at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Brother Ron Ammon will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00PM-8:00PM and Wednesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
