Bertha retired from General Electric after 40 years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and Perry County Campers Club. Bertha enjoyed camping, bingo, embroidering quilts, and being with family and friends, especially breakfast with her McDonald’s friends.
Surviving are her daughters, Judith Davis (Richard) of St. Meinrad, Debra Wheatley (J.C.) of Evanston, Patricia Farmer (Russ) of Dale, Mary Jo Panchisin of Ormond Beach, FL, and son, Tom Lindauer of Crown Point, IN; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; sisters, Anna Schraner (Linus) of Derby and Roberta Krieg (Earl) of Tell City.
Preceding her in death is her first husband, Norman Mulzer; second husband, Ivo Lindauer; sister, Dorothy Bryant, and brother, Floyd Schroeder.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST on Monday, August 10, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Evanston. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Rodney Schmeltz will officiate.
Visitation will be at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00-7:00 PM and Monday from 9:00-11:00 AM at the church.
