Betty L. Kraus, 83, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at her home.
She was born September 9, 1929 to Edward and Bena (Rengers) Lutgring.
Betty was married on August 2, 1952 to Rodger Kraus at St. Mark’s Catholic Church.
She enjoyed flowers, crossword puzzles, crocheting and bird watching.
Surviving is her husband, Rodger Kraus of Tell City; children, Mark, David and Lisa Kraus, all of Tell City, Barbara Sternberg and Bruce Kraus, both of Evansville and Ronald Kraus of Jasper; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul and Charles Lutgring; sister, Cecilia Flamion: grandchildren, Kurt and Kristopher Kraus and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. CST on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Father Dennis Duvelius will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will also be Monday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Sorry to hear about your loss Betty Lou and I shared 8 years in the same grade school class at ST Marks. I will remember her pretty smile. You have our sympathy and best wishes. Al and Mary Lutgring.
