She was born May 21, 1928 to the late Ira and Hazel (Terry) Lindsey.
She was married on August 18, 1956 to Carl Noble, who precedes her in death. Also preceding her in death is a son, Herbert Noble and sisters, Ocie “Katherine” Letterman and Margie Richards.
Betty retired from General Electric and was a babysitter for 17 years. Later, she worked at Golden Living Center and Scenic Hills. She was a volunteer at the Perry County Memorial Hospital gift shop and was a member of Deer Creek Baptist Church, V.F.W. Post 239 and American Legion Post 213 Ladies Auxiliaries and the Red Hat Society.
Surviving are her children, Carl Noble and wife, Amanda of Cannelton, IN and Tina Arnett of Tell City, IN; sister, Sylvia Mason of Chandler, IN and Edith Scott of Evansville: grandchildren, Jennifer Wilgus, Lindsey and Nathan Noble; three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Deer Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Dr. Elmer Shelby will officiate. Visitation will be at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00-8:00 P.M. and Friday from 9:00-10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
