Bobbie Peak Obituary
Bobbie C. Peak, 89, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 at her home.
She was born in Owensboro, KY on December 17, 1924 to the late Raymond and Ruth (Hansford) McCormick. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Joseph "Jack" Peak; a son, Joe Peak; daughter, Stacey Peak; a sister, Jewell McCormick; brothers, Billy and Raymond McCormick.
Bobbie co-owned Peak Shoe Store and The Snappy Grill. She was a member of First Baptist Church and she enjoyed traveling.
Surviving are her children, Judy (Bill) Rhodes of Tell City, Toni Peak of Tell City, Phillip Peak of Savannah, GA and Michael Peak of Evansville; a sister, Ruth Miller of Owensboro; grandchildren, Missy Wilgus, Ian and Madison Peak; great- grandson, Ross Wilgus.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM CST Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00-8:00 PM and Wednesday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross or the Alzheimer’s Association.
