Bobby Cross

Bobby Gene Cross, 75, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.

Born in Albany, KY on August 10, 1940, he is preceded in death by his parents, William Barlow and Effie Nora Cross. Also preceding him in death are step-son, Bill Kendall and a granddaughter, Yvonne Cross.

Bobby served in the US Marine Corp. He was retired from Century Aluminum. He was united in marriage on February 26, 2002 to Carole Werner.

A people person, Bobby enjoyed socializing, riding motorcycles and was a member of Moose Lodge 1424.

Surviving are his wife, Carole Cross of Tell City; children, Eric Cross (Renae) of Santa Claus, IN and Amanda Cross (Ellen Stone) of Sulphur, IN; step-daughters, Candie Kleemann (Paul) of Tell City and Joni Burton (Bryan) of Franklin, TN;brothers, Billy Cross of Albany, KY and Joe Cross of Adamsville, TN; a sister, Evelene Brown of Albany, KY; four grandchildren, Austin, Brandan, Grant and Andrea Cross; great- granddaughter, Aria Lyn; 8 step-grandchildren, Jared, Dylan, Justin and Tucker Kleemann, Kendall, Carter, Peri and Sydney Burton; three step-great-grandchildren, Lola, Delaney and Oliver Kleemann.

A memorial service will be held at 3pm CST on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Evangelical United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. Pastor JT Hills will officiate.
