Brian Dowland Obituary

Brian Dowland, 53, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 in Chrisney, IN.

He was born in Chicago on April 8, 1960 to the late Horace "Ed" and Mary (Barrett) Dowland.

Brian was a 1978 graduate of South Spencer High School. He was a co-owner of the former Dowland’s Pub, in Grandview and was a truck driver. A member of St. Anthony of Padua in Clarksville, IN, he was an avid IU and Chicago White Sox fan.

Surviving is his wife, Kim (Jones) Dowland of Clarksville, IN; sons, Drew and Alex Dowland, of Clarksville, IN; a sister, Dawn (Dennis) Claise of Grandview, IN; brothers, Larry (Pam) Dowland of Tell City, IN and Danny Dowland of Grandview, IN; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM CST, Monday, December 16, 2013 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Visitation will also be Monday from 2:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
