Charles Davis Obituary

Charles Davis, 85, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Tell City.

He was born in Perry County on November 17, 1928 to the late Chester and Anna (Wetzel) Davis. Also preceding him in death is his wife, Norma (Clements) Davis; brothers, Robert and Raymond Davis and sisters, Virginia Lee Davis and Millie Kleeman.

He was retired from Maxon Marine and was a member of First Baptist Church in Cannelton. He enjoyed going to car auctions.

Surviving are his children, Pamela Hay and husband, Joe of Tell City and Shawn Davis; a brother P. J. Davis of Apalona; five grandchildren, Cassandra and Chelsea Hay, Elizabeth Stephens, Kim Dunnahoo and Patricia Davis; and four great-grandchildren, Mattie and Andie Stephens, Zachary and Lucas Hallman.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM CST on Thursday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00-7:00 PM and Thursday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
