Clarence Wilson, 81, died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City. He was born July 24, 1931, the son of Raymond Wilson and Merle (Harlen) Sandage.
He was married on June 14, 1952 to Rosella Rhodes. A farmer, Clarence also worked at Tell City Chair Company, retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and he enjoyed working on his farm.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley and an infant brother.
Surviving is his wife, Rosella Wilson of Leopold; children, Larry Wilson of St. Croix, Mary Jane Poehlein of Tell City, Carylon Hinton of Gatchel, Sharon Scott of Circleville, OH, Jim Wilson of Tell City, Judy Schum of Dale and Charles Wilson of Bristow; sisters, Minnie Thorndyke of Saybrooke, IL, Helen Roth of Medford, WI, Marsha Perry and Linda Moody; a brother, Leonard Sandage of Saybrooke, IL
20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. CST, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at St. Isidore Catholic Church. Father Guy Mansini will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3-8 P.M and Wednesday 8:00-9:15A.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Catholic Church.
