Donald C. Brown, 67, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at his home in Troy.

He was born in Grandview on June 29, 1944 to the late Basil Brown and Gladys (Rudisill) Morris.  Donald was a truck driver and enjoyed being with friends and watching Nascar.  He was married on July 9, 1993 to Mary Stillwell, who survives.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Brown of Troy; daughter, Christine (Ray) Shelton of Troy; step children, Barry (Barb) Dewitt of Evanston and Donna (Freddie) Corella of Tennessee; sisters, Shirley (E.J.) Lindauer of Evanston, Linda (Terry) Alvey of Tell City; brother, Jerry (Pat) Brown of Troy; grandchildren, Brett (Renee`) Thompson, Cody Bauer and Shelby ( Shelby) Huff and 5 step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.  Rev. George Hagan will officiate.  Burial will follow in Troy Cemetery.  Visitation will also be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
