Edna Bosler, 96, passed away December 19, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Tell City.
She was born February 11, 1918 to the late William and Lydia (Comnick) Vosberg.
During WWII, Edna worked as a riveter gunner and remodeled B17's, B29's, and B47's for war planes. She worked at General electric and retired from Tell City Chair Co. She was married on May 1, 1946 to Roy Bosler. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 213 and VFW Auxiliary and past member of Swiss Mrs. Home Ec Club. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and Yahtzee, cross stitching, embroidery, being with family and friends and watching her grandchildren play sports.
Surviving is her daughter, Linda Weiss and husband Randy, of Troy; a sister, Lucy Jensen of California; granddaughters, Kimberly Oxley, Jennifer (Brent) Ficker and Randi Lynn (Adam) Gogel; great-grandchildren, Adrianna and Taylor Oxley, Blake, Brody, and Brock Ficker, Aubreigh and Koyie Gogel.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Roy; son, Billy Bosler; her parents; brothers, Willie, Gerhart and Leland Vosberg; sisters, Effie Myer, Pauline Wright, Eileen Bosler, Ella Lokker, and Vivian Michelau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM CST on Monday, December 22, 2014 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Father Sengole Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00-7:00 PM, with a D of I service at 6:30PM, and Monday from 8:30-9:30AM.
