Elon Fuchs

Elon A. Fuchs, 65, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.

She was born September 14, 1950 to the late Leroy and Ellen Leona (Smith) Ward.

Elon was married on May 30, 1969 to Paul Fuchs. She enjoyed playing bingo, collecting eagles, playing snip, snap, snort, camping, decorating for the holidays and her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, Paul; children, Charlene Hemmings (Scott) and Theresa Fuchs; sisters, Deanna Kellems (Delmar) of South Carolina and Dolores Kleeman (Danny) of Illinois; a brother, Steven Ward (Janna) of Florida; grandchildren, Whitney Ford (Chris), Ryan Fuchs (Brittany), Jeremiah Landras, Dimitri, Chelsea, Mikah and Kyra Hemmings; great-grandchildren, Zaylee, Brigitte, Phoebe and Alyviah Ford, Bronsen and Jakob Fuchs, Tyrese and Keysha Hemmings and Bryleigh Wolf; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Paul, Jr. and grandson, Zachariah Fuchs.

Funeral services will be held at 7pm CST Friday, September 16, 2016 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4pm until service time.
