Eula Smith Obituary

Eula M. Smith, 84, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Tell City, IN on September 17, 1931. Her parents were the late Frank and Hettie (Simpson) Malone. Also preceding her in death is a brother, Ralph Malone.

Eula was married on November 19, 1950 to Clyde E. Smith, who survives. She had retired from General Electric and was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ, Tell city Chapter 272, Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 213, VFW Auxiliary and Women of the Moose Chapter 2052.

Surviving are her husband, Clyde E. Smith of Tell City; daughters, Becky Yadack and husband, Steve of Owensboro and Mary Lock and husband, Raymond of Tell City; grandchildren, Ray Lock, Rachel Fortwendel and husband, Joey, Melissa Evans and husband, Jeremy; great- grandchildren, Ben Fortwendel, Ethan and Erin Evans; sisters, Alice Ray of Plainfield, IN and her twin sister, Beula James of Tell City; a brother, Earl Malone of Newburgh.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM CST on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City. Pastor JT Hills will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-8:00 PM with an Eastern Star service at 6:00 PM and Saturday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
