Floyd Mulzer, 81, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born January 2, 1933 to the late Raymond and Nelda (Fischer) Mulzer. Also preceding him in death is his wife, Joyce A. Mulzer; and brothers, Hilbert and Hugo Mulzer.
Floyd was a Korean War Army veteran. He was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and American Legion Post #213. He enjoyed farming and gardening, fishing, hunting and hunting turtles.
Surviving are his children, Carol Mulzer (Jerry Meunier) of Evanston, Lea Ann (Duane) Gehlhausen of Bristow and Gary (Debbie) Mulzer of Tell City; companion, Betty Vaughn of Tell City; brothers, Omer Mulzer of Evansville and Terry Mulzer of Elkhart: a sister, Verlee Weiss of Tell City; grandchildren, Tara Michelle, Jared, Kristy, Eric, Kari and Sara; 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00AM CST Monday, July 28, 2014 at Evangelical United Church of Christ. Pastor JT Hills will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, with military rites. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-6:00 PM at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. There will be no visitation on Monday morning.
