Frances Simms

Frances Antoinette Simms, 93, of Bowling Green, KY, entered into eternal rest Friday, April 15, 2016 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.

Fran was born July 11, 1922 in Troy, IN to the late Harry and Nettle (Lingang) Bacon. Also preceding her in death are her husband, William, Simms, Sr.; a son, William Grant Simms, Jr.; daughters, Mary Harding and Jennifer Simms; sisters, Margaret McDevitt and Mary Bacon.

Fran was a retired manager for the Indiana State Employment Agency. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Survivors include, sons, Joseph Simms (Kristen) of Evansville, IN and Brian Simms (Susan) of Highland Park, IL; daughters, Camille Drobocky (Dr. Oles) of Bowling Green,KY, Phyllis Sims of Altamonte, Springs, FL and Sara Finan (Rich) of St. Petersburg, FL; son-in-law, Phil Harding of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 9-11am at J.C.Kirby and Son, Lovers Lane Chapel in Bowling Green, KY. Prayers service will be at 11am CST at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at Calvary Cemetery in Troy at 2pm CST on Saturday.
