Gregory Evan Epple, 57, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Tell City, IN on August 7, 1955. A 1973 graduate of Perry Central High School, he also was a graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College. He worked as a welder for Meggitt.
Greg was married to Kathy Jarboe on November 9, 1985. He was a member of Tell City Church of Christ and he enjoyed playing with his granddaughter, spending time with family and friends, hiking, bicycling, woodworking, old tractors, animals and collecting.
Surviving is his wife of 27 years, Kathy Epple of Huffman, stepson, Derrick (Laura Beth) Philipps of Ferdinand; parents, Herman and Virginia (Moorehead) Epple of Tell City; brother, Steven (Judy) Epple of Mill Creek, WA; sisters, Katie (James) Heeke of Troy and Jancy (Duane) Lawalin of Tell City; granddaughter, Adeline and future grandson, Ike.
He is preceded in death by a stepson, Nick Philipps.
Memorial services will be at 4:00PM CST Saturday, January 5, 2012 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Pastors David Johnson and Jon Adams will officiate. Visitation will also be Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00-4:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tell City Church of Christ, Perry County Animal Shelter, Humane Society or Horse Rescue of Perry County.
