Herman Rogier, 69, passed away September 5, 2017 at Golden Living Center in Tell City, Indiana.
He was born February 7, 1948 to Laura (Melton) and Alfred Rogier of Leopold.
Herman was a graduate of Perry Central High School and a member of the U.S. Army. He was a laborer at Whirlpool and a member of the American Legion. Herman enjoyed music, fishing, and cleaning his cars.
He is survived by his children, Billie Gilmore (Dale) of Marengo, Angela Harper (Robert) of Tell City, Dana Kaufman (Steve) of Evanston, Jeremy Rogier (Charla) of Tell City; siblings, Carolyn Harris of Huntingburg, Darlene Harris of Jasper, Donald Rogier (Becky) of Branchville, Kathy Zoglman (Randy) of Fulda, and Carl Rogier (Lynn) of Leopold. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany, Miranda, Savanna, Jordan, Mikayla, Andrew, Cameron, Jacob, Landon, Kellie, Josh, Alexa and 1 great-grandchild.
Preceding him death are his parents; brothers, John and Billy Rogier; and one grandson, Wesley.
Funeral Services will be at 7 pm Friday, September 8 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial at a later date. Visitation will be from 2 - 7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to The American Legion Operation Comfort Warriors.
