Hilda Kleaving, 89, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.
She was born in Tell City, IN on August 10, 1924 to the late Frank and Amelia (Scherzinger) Wright.
Married in November 1946 to Kenneth L. Kleaving, Hilda was a homemaker. She lived most of her in life in Tell City but had lived in Frankfort, IN for a short time, which she enjoyed. She also enjoyed being with her family and pets, playing bingo and helping others. She was a member of Perry County Homemakers and the O.A.K.S.
Surviving are her children, Larry Kleaving, Kevin (Jane) Kleaving, Ronnie (Nancy) Kleaving, Rodney (Violet) Kleaving, Mark Kleaving, Marsha (Dave) Joseph, Sandy (Danny) Peckenpaugh all of Tell City and Pamela Lock of Tobinsport; in-laws; Sue and Alice Wright, both of Frankfort, IN; Lavern (Ralph) Zuelly, Geri (Junie) George and Mae Snyder, all of Tell City;19 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Kenneth; son-in-law, Terry Lock; brothers, Armean, Oswin, Gilbert and Bernard Wright and Mildred Mullis.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM CST on Saturday, December 14, 2013at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Rev Lee Shepard will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 13 from 2:00-7:00PM and Saturday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
