Joyce Coultas Obituary
Joyce Coultas, 84, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 at Golden Living Center.
She was born July 9, 1927 to the late Anton and Mabel (Little) Poehlein. She was a 1945 graduate of Tell City High School and was married on June 10, 1947 to Robert Coultas, who precedes her in death. Also preceding her in death are her parents and brother, Kenneth Poehlein.
Joyce was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and had worked at Tell City Electric Department. She enjoyed watching college basketball.
Surviving are children, Steve (Deborah) Coultas of New Salisbury, IN, Bill (Karen) Coultas of Lexington, KY and Anne (Chander Nagar) Coultas of Aurora, CO; sister, Martha Minto of Tell City, IN; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, April 6, 2012 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Rev. Carly Stucklen Sather will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-8 PM and Friday 9:00-11:00 AM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Golden Living Center Activities Fund.
