Kathryn "Kathy" Boling, 61, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, IN.
She was born August 9, 1951 to the late James Waterbury and Bernice "Evelyn" (Kuntz) Carter.
Kathy was married on February 14, 1981 to Ernest "Darrel" Boling, who precedes her in death on February 11, 2008. Also preceding her in death are daughters, Brenda Shiever and Judy Scherzinger in infancy, and a brother, Jerry Kuntz.
Kathy was a member of United Methodist Church and she enjoyed camping, spending time with her grandchildren and she loved her job at SIRS.
She is survived by her children, Cindy (Downer) Spencer of Evanston, Julie (Brad) Lawalin of Henderson, KY, Chuck (Karen) Scherzinger of Celestine and Jimmy (Jennifer) Scherzinger of Tell City; sisters, Juanita Harpenau of Troy and Tammy Hahus of Tell City; brothers, Mike Waterbury of Tell City, David Zuelly of Evansville, John Zuelly of Virginia and Gary Zuelly of Palms City, FL; 12 grandchildren, Trisha and Bailey Spencer, Dustin, Travis and Keysha Mosby, Caleb, Cole and Kari Ann Scherzinger, Emily Lawalin, Landen, Morgen and Kinley Scherzinger; great-grandchild, Adalynn Mosby
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. CST Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Rev. Ron Ammons will officiate. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00-8:00 P.M. and Sunday 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to SIRS.
