Linda Lou Castello, 67, lost her battle with lung cancer February 3, 2017, at home surrounded by family.
She was born in Grandview, Indiana on May 3, 1949 to the late Walter J. and Alice M. (Arnold) Alvey.
She was united in marriage on December 4, 1971 to Horatio “H.T.” Castello, who passed of Lymphoma in 2011.
She loved spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing bingo and going to yard sales.
Preceding her in death are her brothers James “Bobby”, Donald “Donnie”, Walter “Billy”, and Benny. Sisters, Bonnie Alvey and Barbara Timberlake.
Surviving is her brother, Stephen Alvey (Karen), of Grandview, Indiana, and two sisters, Beverly Rennie (James) of Tell City, Indiana and Carolyn Berger, of Dale, Indiana. Her children, Roxanna Zoglman (Greg) and Anthony Castello (Barbara), both of Evanston, Indiana; and 4 grandchildren, Allison, Emily, and twins Lauren and Olivia.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Monday, February 6. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Newtonville Indiana. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday, February 5 and from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Monday.
