Lucy Cassidy Obituary

Lucy O’Neal Cassidy, 93, passed away February 3, 2012 in Dallas TX. She was born in Derby, IN on April 2, 1918 to the late Absolum and Bertha Hall. She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Harry M. Cassidy and her first husband of 25 years, Thomas R. Eckerty.

Mrs. Cassidy is survived by her children, Leona Smukalla and husband, Ervin of N. Las Vegas, NV, Wanda Cargal and husband, Kenneth of Sugar Land, TX, Sarah Grooms of Houston TX, Thomas Eckerty and wife Rose of Indianapolis, IN and James E. Cassidy and wife, Nancy of Troy, IN; grandchildren, Christopher and Thomas Smukalla, Jerry Cargal, James and Michael Eckerty, Dennis Grooms, Jr., James E. Cassidy, II, Loveda Lockey, Audra Lowe, Krista Boehman and Tamara Luecke; 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11:00 PM CST at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Troy City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
