Marian Sprinkle Obituary

Marian Sprinkle, 91, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.

She was born in Magnet, IN on August 6, 1923 to the late Edward and Ella (Cassidy) Pierrard. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Murl; daughters, Ella Belle and Barbara Jo Sprinkle; sisters, Wilma Patmore and Mildred Keith; brothers, Lloyd, Oliver and Donald Pierrard.

A homemaker, Marian was a member of St. Isidore Church and enjoyed playing cards, carving and gardening.

Surviving is her son, William "Bud" Sprinkle and his wife, Norma of Bristow; a brother, William Pierrard of Tell City; grandchildren, Brian Sprinkle, Kimberly Kluesner, and Kevin Sprinkle; step-grandchildren, Nicole, Dwight, Kevin and Alysia;six great- grandchildren and one step-great-great granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Noon CST Thursday, October 2, 2014 at St. Isidore Church, Bristow. Father Sengole Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 10:00- 11:15 A.M. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Church Cemetery or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
