Angie & Jon:

With much sympathy,
Jolene
I was lucky enough to grow up with Mark. He and Uncle Bill were quite the pair. I followed his footsteps in education and was always intrigued with our conversations. Mark was a educational visionary. He made me proud to be an educator along side of him. I only strive to be as good as he is! He is truly home now and someday soon we will see that smile and enjoy his wonderful sense of humor. Wesley, Greg and my sympathy go out to you, You were blessed by his presence in your life and that never ends! Love, Bettye
My heartfelt sympathies go out to the Dartl Family
I feel lke a “family member” has been lost. Mark was the principal that hired me at Rockport Elementary. Each day at Rockport a joy to me, partly because Mart was there to listen to our troubles, our successes. He also served as Mentor during my Principal Internship at Indiana State University. He was such a caring person for his students as well as his staff members..
My sympathies go our to Charlotte and the boys. Their loss will take time to heal, but remembering the good times you shared and relying upon God’s love to help these hard times.

I’m so sorry to hear about Mark. He was a good man and I liked working with him when he was a principal at South Spencer Middle School. We have all lost a good friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
So sorry to hear of Mark’s passing. Lana was my best friend growing up. Of course, I remember Mark. We used to give him a hard time…in a loving way. Millie was my second Mom & I loved the Dartt family dearly. I was able to visit Millie & tell her what she meant to me. And, you know, Lana was one of a kind. So many happy memories & many include Mark. In my mind I can see Millie welcoming him with open arms.
Jon, Angie, Evan and Emily….we are so sorry for your loss. We will keep you in our prayers. May you find comfort in the loving memories.

All our best and the all-surrounding love of God,
