Mary Tableman Obituary

Mary W. Tableman, 83, formally of Tell City, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Community Hospice House in Fort Worth, Texas.

She was born on December 25, 1931, in Tell City, Indiana to William Orville and Rhoda (Kellems) Wilgus. Mary was a homemaker, excellent seamstress and avid bridge player.

Surviving are daughters, Tammy (Brad) Belz of Mineral Wells, TX, and Chris (Roger) Cooper of Godley, TX; grandchildren Kristi Tableman, John R. Tableman III, Mary Cooper and Tessa Cooper; and great-grandchildren Lauren and Allison.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John R. Tableman; her parents; a son, John R. Tableman II; and brothers, Alan, J.T. and Estel.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Brother Ray Howard will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, October 16th from 4:00-8:00 PM and noon until 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorial contributions be made to Troy First Christian Church Scholarship Fund.
