Mason W. “Bud” Bryant, 76, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at 4:35 a.m. at Perry County County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Spencer County, IN on May 2, 1936 to Mason Senior and Juanita (Sergent) Bryant, who precede him in death. Also preceding him in death is a sister, Judy Seavers.
Mason was married on June 25, 1983 to Mildred “Millie” (Blunk) Brinksneader. He was a heavy equipment operator for Local Union 181 and was the owner and operator of Buds Antiques in Gentryville. He enjoyed being with his family, antiques and his dog, Sadie.
Surviving is his wife Mildred Bryant of Tell City; children, Mason Daniel, Kenny and Greg Bryant, all of Huntingburg, Kim Bryant of West Virginia, Julie (Tony) Thomas and Sonia (Ed) Ress, all of Tell City; sisters, Wanda Kuhn of Jasper and Betty Jo (Tom) Wilkerson of Dale; a brother, Mick (Shirley) Bryant of Sealvin, IN; grandchildren, Corrina, Cameron and Jeremy Bryant, Colton and Luke Thomas and Josalyn Ress.
The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Rogan and his staff and the staff of Perry County Memorial Hospital and the Oncology Dept. for all of their care.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. CST Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Reid will officiate. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
