Melinda Bryant Obituary

Melinda I. Bryant, 58, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016.

She was born February 10, 1958 to the late Letty Lucille (Jackson) and Everett Sketo.

Melinda was united in marriage on April 27, 2002 to Jerry Bryant who precedes her in death. Also preceding her in death are brothers, David and Aaron Sketo.

She was a cook at Sisters of St. Benedict. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling.

Surviving are her children, Rebecca Wiseman, Joe Kemp (Amy) and Rachel Kellems (Bill) all of English and Matthew Montgomery of Bristow; brothers, Michael and Dwight Sketo of Paoli, and Daniel Sketo of Bristow; sisters, Jane Livingston of Bristow, Carolyln Sketo of Rockland, MD, Marilyn Miller of Tell City, Beth Merritt of English, Mary Glenn of Owensboro and Angela McRoberts of Huntingburg; nine grandchildren, Steven, Darren, Nathan and Cierra Wiseman; Ethan Hunt, Olivia Kemp, Tristen Montgomery, Shyla and Raven Kellems; two great grandchildren, Jayce and Brooklynn Wiseman.

Funeral services will be at 10am CST on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Brother Al Madden will officiate. Burial will follow in Beard Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7pm and Saturday 8:30am until service time.
