Michael Terry Obituary

Michael Terry, 65, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at his home in Tell City.

He was born March 18, 1951 to the late Leonard Terry and Oda May (Covey) Terry, who survives.

Mike was a 1969 graduate of Perry Central High School. He was united in marriage on July 11, 1970 to the former Judy Guilluame. He was a retired Navy veteran, serving for 20 years and later retiring from Parker-Hannifin Corp. after 15 years. Mike was a member of Moose Lodge 1424, VFW Post 2939 and American Legion Post 213. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Judy (Guillaume) Terry of Tell City; son, Richard Terry of Tell City; daughters, Denise Bartlett (Nick) of Tell City and Julie Gates (Alex) of Noblesville, IN; mother, Oda May Terry of Tell City; sisters, Charlotte Goffinet (Allen) of Tell City and Patricia Glenn (Greg) of Troy; four grandchildren.

Services will be at 10am CST on Monday, August 15, 2016 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Pastor Jack Masterson will officiate. Burial will follow in Lilly Dale Cemetery, with military rites. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-7pm and Monday 9-10am at the funeral home.
