Mitchell Franklin Hirsch, 49, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at his home. He was born in Dayton, OH on January 19, 1963 to the late Jack and Velma (Stockton) Hirsch.
He was a1981 graduate of Kenton Ridge High School in Ohio, later joining the Army where he was stationed in Germany for two years. He was also in the Army reserves..
Mitchell was united in marriage on May 28, 1994 to Mary Beth VanWinkle, who survives. He was baptized at Oak Ridge Pentecostal Church. He loved fishing and all kinds of hunting, including arrowhead, mushroom and deer. He was also a Nascar and NFL fan.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Beth Hirsch of Bristow; son, Dylan Mitchell Hirsch of Bristow; brother, Mike Hirsch and wife Theresa of Jasper; sisters, Paula Benston and husband, Dave of Jasper and Karen Wallace and husband, Bill of Mandeville, LA; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. CST at Oak Ridge Pentecostal Church in Bristow. Brother David Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow in Beard Cemetery. Visitation will be at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home on Friday from 2-8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
