Regis “Reg” Kleeman , 75, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
He was born November 17, 1941 to Cletus and Ontoinetta (Turner) Kleeman, in Tell City, Indiana.
Regis was US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He worked at the US Postal Service as a mail carrier. He was a member of the American Legion Post 213, VFW Post 2939, and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed collecting stamps, presidential memorabilia, gardening, and was a loving, husband, father, grandfather, and he loved Tell City.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years Kaye (Goble) Kleeman; son Wes (Judy) Kleeman of Hawesville, KY; brother Chris “Hooker” (Kathy) Kleeman Tell City; sister Pat (Jerry) Fella of Santa Claus; and 2 grandchildren, Hunter and Kynslee.
Preceding him in death are his parents Cletus and Ontoinetta (Turner) Kleeman; 2 brothers, Larry (Clete) and Jeff Kleeman.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Thursday, August 10, 2017 at St. Paul Catholic Church with burial following in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 pm Wednesday, August 9, 2017 with K of C Prayer Service at 7 pm and from 8:30 to 9:30 am Thursday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Goble-Kleeman Fund for Young Children with the Community Foundation or St. Paul Catholic Church.
