Rosa Thaxton Obituary
Rosa K. Thaxton, 97, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Tell City.
Rosa was born May 31, 1916 to the late Ferdinand and Matilda (Schneider) Kleeman. She is also preceded in death by brothers, Phillip, Paul, Norbert, Ed, Ambrose and Raymond Kleeman.
Rosa was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from General Electric. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 213. She enjoyed gardening, playing bingo and cards.
Surviving is her daughter, Betty Holman of Tell City; a brother, Ferd Kleeman of Tell City; a sister, Mary Jarboe of Tell City; grandchildren, David and Jim Holman.
There will be no services at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
