Rose Brown Obituary
Rose Brown, 68, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born March 8, 1944 to James and Edith (Lampkin) Elverd.
A homemaker, Rose enjoyed flowers and gardening, Elvis and being with her grandchildren.
Surviving is her husband, Ray Brown, Sr. of Tell City; children, Ray Brown, Jr,, Kelly Brown and Tammy Wagner, all of Tell City and Scott Brown of Evansville; brothers, Elbert Elverd of Bristow and Lonnie Elverd of Evansville; a sister, Nellie VanWinkle of Dale; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is a son, Terry Brown; her parents; brothers, Kenny, Everett, Johnny and Ray Elverd; sisters, June Applegate, Mary and Eloise Aders and Patricia VanHoosier.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Noon at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Brother David Hayes will officiate. Visitation will also be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until Noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bristow City Cemetery.
