Shellayne Cronin Obituary

Shellayne Cronin, 52, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 from injuries sustained in a car accident.

She was born November 23, 1961 to the late James "Bud" and Betty (Davis) Knable. Also preceding her in death are brothers, John and Larry Knable.

She was married on October 23, 1979 to Mark Cronin. Shellayne had worked as a nurse at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Dukes Cumberland Presbyterian Church and she enjoyed collecting jewelry and antiques.

Surviving is her husband, Mark Cronin of Cloverport; a daughter Brandi Cronin of Cloverport; a grandson, Brandon Wirthwein; sisters, Jamie Gross of Evansville, Holly Basham of Lewisport and Patty Morgan of Troy; brothers, Rick Knable of Evanston and Danny Knable of Tell City.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CST Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Pastor Kim Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow in Troy Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-8:00PM and Wednesday 9:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
