Sue Stuffel Obituary
Beverly Sue (Garner) Stuffel, 85, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.
She was born Septermber 3, 1932 to James Garner and Edith Conquest Garner in Muncie, Indiana.
Beverly graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1951. She had worked as a telephone operator and as a Title One Reading Aide. She was a member of Red Hats and Prayer and Share.
She is survived by her children, John Stuffel (Brandy) of Tell City, IN, Judy Strobel (Bernie) of Newtonville, IN, Jane Sherrill of Port St. Joe, FL, Jo Stuffel of Tell City, IN, 10 grandchildren, Robin (Natalie), Brandy (Michael), Ayla, Jessica, Michael, Ricky, Callie, Kara, Dalton, Janie; and 4 great-grandchildren, Nolan, Andrew, Otto, and Max.
Preceding her in death are her husband Ivan Stuffel; daughter, Nancy Stuffel; brother, James Garner Jr.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 pm Monday, February 19, 2018 and from 9:00 to 10:30 am Tuesday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
