Tamara Sarnowski Obituary
Tamara "Tammy" Sarnowski, 53, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born in Chicago, IL on January 18, 1959 to Albert and Shirley Sarnowski.
She was a 1977 graduate of Tell City High School. Tammy had worked at Beverly Healthcare and enjoyed fishing, shooting pool and being with her family and friends.
Surviving are daughters, Jessica and Emily Sarnowski of Lewisport, KY; granddaughter, Brooklyn Audree O’Brien; mother, Shirley Sarnowski of Santa Claus, IN; sisters, Lynn Vaughn of Santa Claus, IN, Sharon Henson and Terry Parker, both of Tell City,; brothers, Allan Sarnowski of Lancaster, CA and Scott Sarnowski of Palmdale, CA.
She is preceded in death by her father, Albert; grandmother, Lucille Swiniuch; nephew, Chad Embry; great niece, Ella Hope Ferrero.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM CST Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to her granddaughter, Brooklyn Audree O’Brien, c/o Jessica Sarnowski.
