Thelma DeVillez Obituary
Thelma J. DeVillez, 82, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.
She was born in Harned, KY on April 5, 1932.
Thelma was united in marriage to Shirley DeVillez on October 20, 1952. She had worked at General Electric and enjoyed cooking, gardening and yard work.
Surviving are her children, Shelia (Jack) Hanks of Tell City, Linda (Ed) Luker of Evanville, Steve (Belinda) DeVillez of Evansville, Cindy (Neil) Goffinet of Evanston, and Scott (Sharon) DeVillez of Tell City; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Proceeding her in death is her husband, Shirley; a son Larry DeVillez; parents, John and Sadie (Vittito) Tucker; and a brother, O'Neal Tucker.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. CST, Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and 9:00-11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association.
