Wilma G. Weigand, 96, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Tell City. She was born in Spencer County, IN on November 5, 1915 to the late William and Susan (Wetzel) Hartloff.
Wilma retired in 1975 from General Electric after 28 years. She was a member of St. John’s Chrysostom Catholic Church and St. Meinrad American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, doll collecting and her time with family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Susan (Jim) Knabel of Venice, FL, Robert (Linda) Hughes of Port Charlotte, FL, Mark (Gena) Weigand of Cannelton, Kenneth (Linda) Weigand of Evanston and LaVerne Devillez of Owensboro; step children, Richard Weigand of Zephyrhills, FL and Linda (Don) Matlock of Summerfield, FL; brother, William (Audrey) Hartloff of Holland, IN; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are sisters, Mary Fuller, Esther Rauch, Florence Harris and
Lorene Richards; a brother, Roy Hartfoff; and a son- in- law, Jim Devillez.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. John Chrysostom Church Cemetery, Evanston. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00-7:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. and Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
