Dennis L. Mullis, 90, of Fulda, IN, passed away on Friday March 8, 2024, peacefully at his home.

He was born on June 9, 1933, in Tell City, IN, to the late Hugo and Beatrice (Schneider) Mullis.

Denny was a 1951 graduate of Tell City High School. After high school Dennis went on to serve our country by joining the United States Air Force during the Korean War. On October 23, 1954, Denny married the love of his life, Nina Rothgerber. They shared 66 wonderful years together before her passing in November of 2020. He was a mechanic for several years and retired from the Abbey Press in 1996 as their Warehouse Supervisor.

He was a member of St Boniface Catholic Church where he was very active in all parish functions. Denny was a member of the Men's Sodality and of the St. Meinrad American Legion Post 366, where he was an adjunct, serving in the color guard for numerous funeral details. He was also a member of the Fulda Development Corporation, serving as its President for a time. Denny enjoyed cars of all makes and models and was a big NASCAR fan. He spent his time restoring his 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline, going fishing, and gathering firewood with his grandsons. His greatest enjoyment was his time spent with his family.

Denny is survived by his children, Denise (John) Leclere of Tell City, IN, Carla (Tim) Williams of Knoxville, TN, and Brad (Patty) Mullis of Commiskey, IN; a sister, Barbara Ross of Tell City, IN; grandchildren, Erica Rodgers, Derek Schipp, Laura Schipp, Jeffrey (Abby) Williams, Logan (Amber) Schipp, Michael Williams, Ian Leclere, Joe (Miranda) Mullis and Lily Mullis; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
