Joseph E. Davis

Joseph (Joe) E. Davis, 63 of Casper, Wyoming, climbed the stairway to heaven February 23, 2024, doing what he loved, being outside and snowshoeing on Casper Mountain.

Joe was born on November 29, 1960, to James and Irmina Davis of Troy, Indiana.

He loved spending time with his family, friends and his partner Denise Lewin. Joe loved all things outdoors. He spent his time riding his Harley, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, golfing and reading. If you wanted to visit the area, he was always up for showing off the beautiful sights of his adopted state of Wyoming. Joe was a huge supporter of his country, servicemen and veterans. If you knew our dad, you know just how truly amazing he was and how much he will be missed.

Joe is survived by his daughter Abbigail Roy (Brett), his son Mason Davis and his son Colby Davis (Kyndal), his sister Sue Davis, and his brothers Steve Davis and Bruce Davis. Joe had 6 grandchildren, Parker Roy, Colson Roy, Emmitt Roy, Piper Davis, Berkley Davis and Lakelyn Davis and 1 great granddaughter Lily Roy.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, James Davis, his mother, Irmina Davis, and his brothers, Philip Davis and John Davis.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday March 30, 2024. Please join us in celebrating the amazing life of Joe by sharing your most fond memories. You can either write them down for the children to keep, share them the day of the service or both.

Visitation will be held at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City, Indiana on Saturday from 1pm - 4 pm.
