Ralph Albert Fuchs, Sr., 97, of Tell City, IN, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at his home in Tell City, IN.
He was born February 24, 1927, in Tell City, IN, the son of Carl P. and Mary (Kessans) Fuchs.
Ralph was a graduate of Troy High School. After high school he went on to serve our country, joining the United States Navy. Ralph had worked for Tell City Chair Company and retired after 35 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, crafts, and was an avid coon hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his children, Ralph Albert Fuchs, Jr. (Sue Burst) of Tell City, Douglas Fuchs of Tell City, Clifford Arnold of FL, and Doris Kellems (Greg Brannon) of Fountaintown, IN; stepdaughter, Julie Spears of Cannelton; nephew, Paul Thomas Cooms; grandchildren, Josh, Zachariah, Dustin, Kane, Mariah, Austin, Aubry, Jessica Spears, Jeff Powers (Brooke) and Demetrius Powers; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Fuchs; daughter, Carol Arnold; siblings, Alice Pannett, Irvin Fuchs, Mildred Boehm, Mary Hearst, Carolyn Adkins, and Carl Fuchs.
Visitation will be from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Monday March 4, 2024, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with burial to follow immediately in Greenwood Cemetery.
