Doyle Northerner

Doyle Northerner, 64, passed away August 5, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, KY.

Born July 24, 1955, in Tell City, Indiana, he was the son of William “Bill” and Mary Kessans Northerner.

Doyle served in the US Navy and was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, arrowhead hunting, camping, ping pong, and spending time on the Ohio River with family and friends. Dads greatest joy in life were his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Northerner of Tell City; children, Monique Northerner of Tell City, Jason Northerner of Santa Rosa, CA, Mark (Terra) Northerner of Tell City, Rebecca McKinney of Booneville, ; brothers/sisters Cathy (Curt) Powers, preceded in death Richard (Kay) Northerner, Paul, Rosemary (Rodney) Lasher, Christine (Jeff) Lahee, Arvin, Anna, Robert. Grandchildren Phoebe Rose George, Berkley Northerner, Tanner, Kayden, and Mya and special mention of his closet friends, Tommy, Eric, Tim, Bryan, Jessica, Jo and Emily.

He was preceded in death by, his grandparents. Allen and Nellie Northerner, Catherine Kessans and his father William.

A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
