Roy Wayne Lasley

Roy Wayne Lasley, 69, passed away January 24, 2019 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City, Indiana.

Born November 1, 1949, in Corydon, Indiana, he was the son of John and Bonnie (Wiseman) Lasley. He married the late Evelyn (Cassidy) Lasley on September 15, 1990. Roy was a member of the Branchville Masonic Lodge and enjoyed trains, playing music, tall tales, and driving.

Survivors include his sons, Grover Lasley (Carla) of Louisville, KY, Ronnie James of Hawesville, KY, and Greg James (Mary) of Rockport, IN; sister, Shelia Stockley (Dennis) of Ocoee, FL; and grandchildren, Christina Rose Lasley and Katie Crook. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; his parents; and his brother, James.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, January 29 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff King officiating. Burial in Hill Grove Christian Church Cemetery near Corydon, Indiana. Visitation will be from 3 – 7 pm Monday, January 28 with a Masonic Service at 7 pm and from 9 am to service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
