Aaron L. Strahl

Aaron L. Strahl, 46, passed away February 16, 2023, in Evansville, Indiana, due to work related injuries.

Aaron was born on May 26, 1976, the son of Dennis and Karen (Brock) Strahl.

He was a 1994 graduate of Tell City High school. He had worked as a Steelworker at Century Aluminum and was currently doing carpentry work for Ace Home Improvement out of Evansville. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Local 9423 and the Wild Turkey Federation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Indianapolis Colts football and IU basketball. Aaron loved spending time with his daughter and his family.

Aaron is survived by his daughter, Kassidy of Leopold; his companion, Hannah Kleeman; his parents, Dennis and Karen Strahl; siblings, Phillip (Robin) Strahl and Jeni (Clint) Albin, all of Tell City; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Masterson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery in Leopold.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, from 2:00 to 8:00pm and on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 8:00am until service time at the funeral home.

Aaron was able to be an organ donor and give the gift of life to many families.

Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for his daughter Kassidy.
