Allyson Cravens

Allyson (Elder) Cravens 63, passed away on October 11, 2024, at her home in Troy, IN.

She was born on March 7, 1961, in Kissimmee, FL, daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Claycomb) Elder.

Allyson and her family moved here from Florida in 1967. She was a 1979 graduate of Cannelton High School. Allyson was united in marriage to Doug Cravens on June 5, 1982. She had worked at Hydro-Tex, Aristokraft and later retired from Best Chairs, after several years of service.

Allyson cherished every moment spent with her precious grandson Colson. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and pets and playing computer games. She had a great sense of humor and was constantly bringing laughter to everyone around her.

Allyson is survived by her husband of 42 years, Doug Cravens of Troy; her boys, Jake Cravens of Tell City and Kyle (Elaina) Cravens of Owensboro, KY; a brother Joey Elder of Evansville; and her precious grandson, Colson.

In addition to her parents, Allyson was preceded in death by her siblings, Delisa Elder, Pam Haycraft, Barry Elder, and Jenny Hagan.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
