Andrew E. Lasher

Andrew Eugene Lasher, 60, of Tell City, passed away May 3, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on April 22, 1963, to David and Barbara (Forler) Lasher in Tell City, Indiana. Andy was a 1981 graduate of Perry Central High School. He married Kimberly (Baert) Lasher on September 5, 1992. Andy was the co-owner and co-operator of Lasher Farms and Lasher Lumber. He enjoyed reading books, going hunting and fishing, and doing anything outdoors. He was a kind, gentle soul and loved all animals and his family deeply. His greatest enjoyment was his time spent with his family and friends.

Andy is survived by his wife of 30 years Kimberly Lasher; his son, Thomas J. Lasher (Hannah) of Tell City; his siblings, Charles Lasher (Mary) of Tell City, Catherine Auffart (Daryl) of Ferdinand, Wayne Lasher (Trena) of Tell City, and Joanie Lasher of Tell City.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Cheryl and Debbie Lasher.

Funeral services will be at 11 am Monday, May 8, 2023, at St. Isidore Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Fr. Luke Waugh will officiate. Visitation will be from 1pm to 6pm Sunday, May 7,2023, and from 8:30am to 10:15am Monday May 8, 2023, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Isidore Cemetery.
