Avis A. Patrick

Avis A. Patrick, 74, passed away on Tuesday September 06, 2022, at her home in Tell City.

Born June 22, 1948, to the late Harrison Hicks and Jessie (Ray) Hicks. She was united in marriage on October 14, 1978, to the late Gary Arthur Patrick. Avis was an LPN for 13 years, she worked for SIRS and retired from Southern Hills. She enjoyed reading, music and taking "sanity" drives to the porch of peace.

Surviving are her children Jessica Moore of Derby and William (Jennifer) Patrick of Tell City; her stepchildren, Tom (Kim) Patrick, Elizabeth (Ben) Small, Gary Patrick, and Meredith Curtis; sisters, Lorna (Steve) Ford and Shelly (Tom) Wolf both of Evansville; grandchildren, Cathalyn Diaz, Ben Gutierrez, Alyssa and Lillian Patrick; great-grandchildren, Kendrick and Malichi.

Avis was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Services will be Saturday, September 10, 2022, at St. Paul Catholic Church at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2022, from 3:00 to 7:00pm and on Saturday from 8:30 to 9:30am at the funeral home.

Avis was proud to be a nurse and thankful for the opportunity to help people.
