Barbara A. Gaesser

Barbara Ann Gaesser, 81, of Tell City, IN, passed away on July 26, 2024.

She was born November 10, 1942, daughter of the late James and Mary (Bennett) Rankin.

Barbara retired from Tell City Chair Company after several years of service. After retirement she enjoyed being a caregiver as well as decorating cakes. Barbara liked hunting, fishing, doing crafts, going to yard sales, gardening and planting flowers.

Barbara is survived by her son, Ricky Dale Braunecker of Tell City; grandchildren, Ryan Braunecker, Brittney Maddle, Lauren Blake, Katlyn Langebrake, Trent Braunecker, Shane Braunecker and Corey Braunecker; along with 7 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Braunecker; second husband, David Gaesser; her sons, Kenny and Larry Braunecker; and her siblings, Billy and Shirley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Fr. Tony Hollowell officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Troy, IN. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
