Betty Holman

Betty Holman, 78, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City.

Betty was born on October 11, 1947, daughter of the late Rosa (Kleeman) Thaxton.

She was a 1965 graduate of Tell City High School and retired from Commercial Filters after several years of service. Betty was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed camping and fishing, loved the outdoors. She found great joy in dancing to her favorite song, “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers, especially with her fiancé, Greg Collignon, who survives.

Betty is also survived by her sons, David and James Holman; 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth Holman, Jamie Ripley, Timothy Holman, and Brianna McCown; and 7 great-grandchildren, D.J. Ripley, Leo Ripley, Benjamin McCown, Sarah McCown, Peter McCown, Gunner Holman, and Daisy Williams.

Per her request, there will be no services.
