Betty Jean Rothgerber

Betty Jean Rothgerber, 82, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, In.

She was born February 23, 1938 to Norman and Hettie (Collignon) Williams in Tell City. She married Leo Anthony Rothgerber on October 10, 1953 who preceded her in death.

Betty and her husband owned and operated B&L Dollar Stores and she enjoyed pets, crafts, and auctions.

She is survived by her children , Anthony (Eva) Rothgerber of Tell City, Debra Dennison of Tell City, Ronald (Karen) Rothgerber of Boonville, IN; a brother Duke (Mary) Williams of Tell City; grandchildren, Samuel Rothgerber, Sara Lawalin, Justin Rust, James Dennison, Vanessa Wesselman, Aaron Rothgerber, Alex Rothgerber, Katrina Georges, Brandon Greenlee, Nichole Abell and 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Preceding her in death in addition to parents and husband is a grandson, Adam Rust, sisters, Barbara Ballis, Patty Brown and a brother, Norman Williams.

Graveside services will be at 6:00 pm Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Lilly Dale Cemetery.
