Beverly Jean Glenn

Beverly Jean Glenn, 74, passed away on May 12, 2026, at her home in Tell City.

Born on August 12, 1951, in Tell City, she was the daughter of the late Raymond R. and Eugenia V. (Bredhold) Powers.

Beverly was a proud graduate of the class of 1969 from Tell City High School. She later obtained her CNA certification, which opened many doors throughout her career. Beverly worked as a CNA at Perry County Memorial Hospital for 14 years and with the Visiting Nurse Association for 12 years. She later served as a case manager at Southern Hills Counseling Center for 10 years before ending her career at Lincoln Hills Development Corporation after four years of dedicated service.

She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved keeping an eye on the neighborhood, took pride in maintaining a clean home, enjoyed tending to her flowers, and every now and then liked raising a little hell.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Briones and Jeff Glenn, both of Tell City; brothers, Raymond (Diana) Powers, Jr. of Gentryville and Michael Ray Powers of Tell City; her beloved grandchildren, Erik Briones and Elyssa Briones; and great-grandchild, Odin Briones, along with countless extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronnie and Gary Powers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
